Hello gorgeous people,

Even as I write this post, I can see the pittar patter of the rain. Yes, It's officially monsoons and the hindi calender month of Saawan in India. Amidst the potholes, road blocks and water logging, let us still take a moment to enjoy this beautiful weather where nature fills everything with abundance....

Monsoons and rains come with their own cuisine and eating options. And the good old tea, or the humble chai, is something which majorly everyone in India loves. Whether it is sitting in some exotic tea gardens in Darjeeling or our favourite roadside tapri (thela wala), the cuppa of chai or tea is always something which goes well with rains, masti, and some quality time with friends.

I may enjoy my cups of coffee a lot, but then, monsoons for me become synonymous with tea. Infact, I am all for enjoying different variants and varieties of my pretty little cup. So when I got a chance to check out some awesome teas, I couldn't have missed it for sure...  :-)

Before I make you lust for some chai, take your favourite cup in hand as you read my deets ...

Overall, a functional packaging.

On the Inside

The Octavius Darjeeling Tea is definitely a very fine quality of tea. Darjeeling Tea is called the 'Champagne of Teas' and this one can aptly fit the bill. You can feel the aroma of this tea the moment you open the packaging. It has a strong, but lovely aroma, which every tea lover would identify with. Darjeeling teas are best had with no or a little milk as the leaves have their own natural flavour. I made my tea as an infusion as it does not require heavy boiling or brewing. The tea not only smells awesome, but tastes just perfect. It has an uplifting flavour which can make your dull days better. Feeling stressed? This cup can surely take away that stress in a jiffy.

PEL SHOUT OUT

The Octavius Darjeeling Tea is something which every tea lover would definitely enjoy. The aroma is rich, the flavour perfect and the colour simply mesmerising. One sip and you will feel the magic working. Since it comes in a beautiful box, you can also gift it to those who love the fine things in life. Definitely a must try.
